Clean Windows By Square Foot Or Per Window
When it comes to pricing windows, charging by the square foot has been the industry standard for a long time since most home owners know the square foot of their house. I get phone calls all the time where before I can get a word in they are telling me how many square feet they have. The problem with square feet is that you are not a carpet cleaner, you are a window cleaner. You are not cleaning square feet you are cleaning windows.
My San Diego Window Cleaning Company charges by the window instead of by the square foot. The more windows the better, sometimes small houses have a lot of windows and large homes have few windows, you can never tell by the square foot how many windows a home has.
If you decide to clean by the square foot there is no telling how many windows you are getting yourself into and how much money you’ll be losing out on, not to mention your time and labor. You could go to a home that has very little square feet but have a ton of windows, I know I see it all the time and every time I think to myself how glad I am I charge by the window. If you charge by the square foot you will also find yourself dealing with a marketing war with other window cleaners who also charge by the square foot at which point you’ll be attracting those penny pinchers again.
Most window cleaners clean by the square foot which is where my San Diego Window Cleaning company has an advantage, since I can not be compared as easily to other window washers since they have a different way of determining price.
